Have you ever desired to experience a foreign mission field? Would you like to see another land through the eyes of compassion with which God views it--the eyes that look past the unique sights, sounds, and experiences of a foreign culture, and see a people blinded by false religion and in need of a Saviour? Have you wanted to see God’s grace and mercy firsthand, as you watch souls being drawn to Him? Have you longed to witness direct, visible answers to prayer, as God moves storms, solves border difficulties, protects His children, and provides financially? Have you desired to be drawn closer to God and be a vessel fit for the Master’s use?

Bearing Precious Seed in El Paso, Texas, offers such unique opportunities. Directly across the border from El Paso lies the city of Juarez and the nation of Mexico, a land sorely in need of the Gospel. Around 85 million Mexicans are nominal Catholics, and have had their eyes blinded by false religion.
Each summer, BPS El Paso teams up with Independent Baptist Churches in Mexico to help them reach their area with the Gospel. For ten weeks throughout the summer, BPS El Paso hosts mission teams. Each week consists of times of challenging preaching, quiet moments with God, Scripture assembly at the BPS print shop, and opportunities to participate in daily outreaches in Juarez through Scripture distribution and evangelistic meetings. Each week includes multiple opportunities to reach hundreds of people with the Gospel. (Mission trips deeper into the heart of Mexico are also available upon request.)
Have you ever dreamed of seeing the mission field? Have you ever desired to see firsthand the work of spreading the Gospel to a lost people? Have you thought it is not possible to enjoy a missions trip without leaving the country? Have you considered what God could do with a surrendered heart on a weeklong missions trip in the United States?
Bearing Precious Seed in El Paso, Texas has worked with independent Baptist missionaries across the border in Mexico for many years. However, through the open door that the Lord has provided, we have been privileged to partner with Pastor Don Chitty in New Mexico. His unique ministry is one of being a missionary to the Navajo Indians. For over 37 years, Pastor Chitty has pastored the Open Bible Baptist Church in Waterflow, New Mexico where the majority of his congregation is Navajo Indians. He is located just a few short miles from a Navajo Indian Reservation and regularly runs buses to pick up those who desire to be a part of the services each week.
BPS El Paso has the opportunity to take two weeks this summer to travel up to Northern New Mexico to work alongside Pastor Don Chitty and minister to the people of the Navajo nation. Each of the two weeks will consist of Scripture assembly, distribution, prayer meetings, evangelistic services, and other ministry and fellowship opportunities. Through this exciting partnership, we will be able to take the mission trips in Juarez, Mexico and move them to a group of people that are within our own country’s borders. Would you allow God to use you this summer to reach a people that are often forgotten? Would you allow God to work in your life and challenge you to think of the lost more than ever before?

“The week that our church has spent in Mexico was definitely one to remember. The faces of all the kids and the energy and purity that you can see in their eyes sparks a desire to be here. There are so many things to do and so much fun to be had. Don’t let the Devil discourage you from being here. I can talk about the trip, the joy, the friends, but there is something else here—something that can’t be explained by words, but just has to be experienced. The Bearing Precious Seed ministry has a constant downpour of the Holy Spirit that fuels their ministry and reignites revival within everyone.”

“I am very thankful that the Lord allowed me to go on this missions trip. God did so many great things; so many miracles, not only in the hearts and lives of the wonderful Mexican people who were saved, but also in my own life. God revealed His mighty power and love during this trip. Juarez has been involved in a lot of unrest recently. I thought I would be fearful and afraid while there. I found I was wrong. I have never, to my knowledge, felt safer. It really is true—the safest place is the center of God’s will. I am grateful to the wonderful staff at BPS and our great God for making my trip a fantastic experience. I will definitely go again if I am able.”

“It was such a blessing to be able to come on the missions trip and just see how God worked in everybody’s lives. It was a blessing to be able to talk to the little kids, to just see them with smiles on their faces, and to love on them like they were a part of our lives.”
